Changes to the Song of the Day
Starting this week, the “Song of the Day” will become the “Song of the Week.” This change is a long time coming. Teaching at three colleges and coaching HS soccer and basketball has taken its toll on the SOTD, as I’m sure some of you have noticed. The way I see it, this the changes in the SOTD format are a long time coming. For one, they limited me in this space on Substack to music when I really want this to be a space where I can write about my various ideas on music/film/literature etc. In addition, the SOTW format will allow me to highlight a song for each week and be able to provide bonus content (rather than always trying to catch up).
I’m excited about the evolution to the SOTW format and the way it will free up this space. If you enjoy the content that will come in the days, weeks, months, years to come, please consider subscribing and contributing to the page.
